There is one thing that matters more to staying in shape than any diet plan, training program or even the skill of your personal fitness coach.
That one thing is CONSISTENCY.
Without consistency, everything else is worthless. You could have the greatest program in the world, but if you don't stick with it over the long term... and let's be honest, most people don't!... you'll NEVER see lasting results.
While there are multiple factors involved in maintaining consistency, the FIRST thing you need to attack is setting a deeply motivating goal that inspires you to action. A deeply motivating goal is one that unlocks your deep motivational triggers. These are the "WHYs" behind your goals... the reasons that keep you motivated even when things aren't going well!
You also need to connect those 'whys' to a process that will get you there and then find a way to keep that goal at the top of your mind.
